Under Her Mantle: Carmelite Consecration Series

Tuesdays 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6 & 10/13 from 6:30-8:00 PM in Garretti Hall.

Series Overview:

The Under Her Mantle Spiritual Formation Series provides an opportunity for adults to grow in their appreciation of the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and the tradition of Carmelite prayer. Through reflections, Adoration, and table discussion, participants will gain a richer awareness of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, the Carmelite Scapular, and the spiritual heritage of Carmel.

Sessions will include a presentation on Carmelite spirituality, small group discussion, and practical recommendations and accountability for growing in prayer and union with Jesus through Mary.

Utilizing Flos Carmeli, a recent guide to Marian consecration through the Brown Scapular, we will not only learn about Our Blessed Lady, but will also receive the tools and time to draw closer to her and her Son in prayer. While reading between sessions is encouraged, it is not required. However, registration is required to ensure that enough books are ordered.

Series Details & Schedule:

The series will meet at 6:30 PM on Tuesday 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6 & 10/13 in Garretti Hall. Participants are also invited to be enrolled in the Scapular on Saturday, 10/17 following the 8:30 AM Mass.

Registration & Fees: Registration is available online by clicking the button below or calling/visiting the parish office. A $20 registration fee includes the cost of the Flos Carmeli book. Payment by cash or check will be accepted at the first session. Please register early so books can be ordered in advance.
